Focusing on survival strategies for those unfortunates trapped in urban settings (cities) or detention camps. Historical examples abound and we will draw from these with an eye to any future scenario. Topics will cover all aspects of living in an enemy-occupied city - from day-to-day life, to the underground, to resistance in plain site - with an emphasis on safety and survival.

Obviously, we all know there is no such thing as "Tyranny" in America, nor will there ever be an oppressive government - so all articles will use the hypothetical or "fictional" term "The Regime" when referring to this impossible entity.

In the Event of Catastrophe:

Here we will cover survival in a city devastated by major catastrophe wherein the governmental and societal structure has collapsed. Power, utility and medical facilities are, for all extent and purposes, non-functioning. Supply chains are non-existent. It is "survival of the fittest" at it's worst.

But it is not a lost or hopeless cause. Knowledge, awareness, skills and above all - the will to survive, can see you through these difficult times. People, on the whole, really are, if not sheep, then "herd" animals. Very few leaders, very few people capable of organizing any type of plan, very few people knowledgeable about anything other than the skill-set they used while the world still worked.

One man or woman with these abilities, who has considered the horrendous possibilities of war, famine, plague, natural disaster or other civilization-ending scenario - AND WHAT TO DO in the event these things come to pass - can save countless lives.
