Third United States Army Organized on November 7, 1918, at Chaumont, France, this unit has played a major role in America's military history. Contributions of Women at the United States Naval Observatory The United States Naval Observatory is one of the oldest scientific institutions in the United States, but the contributions made by women have been confined to the last 100 years. This site explores the lives and contributions of the handful of young women who came to the Observatory before 1920.

The U.S. Air Force History Support Office is responsible for writing books, monographs, studies, and reports to preserve the history of the U.S. Air Force. United States Air Force Museum is the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world. This site contains a wealth of information about the museum's exhibits as well as photographs of the museum's vast collection of historical aircraft.
