Discovery of Schumann Resonance In 1952, the German physicist Professor W.O. Schumann of the Technical University of Munich predicted that there are electromagnetic standing waves in the atmosphere, within the cavity formed by the surface of the earth and the ionosphere. This came about by Schumann teaching his students about the physics of electricity. During a lesson about ball condensers he asked them to calculate the frequency between the inner and outer ball, meaning the earth and ionosphere layer. They came up with a calculation of 10Hz. This was confirmed in 1954 when measurements by Schumann and König detected resonances at a main frequency of 7.83 Hz. In the years following this discovery, several investigators worldwide have researched "Schumann resonance" and a number of properties and characteristics have now been established.

Schumann resonance Gregg Braden is currently traveling around the United States and in the media, telling of the scientific proof of the Earth passing through the Photon Belt and the slowing of the Earths rotation. At the same time there is an increase in the resonant frequency of the Earth (Schumann Resonance). When the Earth stops its rotation and the resonance frequency reaches 13 cycles we will be at a zero point magnetic field. The Earth will be stopped, and in 2 or 3 days it will start turning again in the opposite direction. This will produce a reversal in the magnetic fields around the earth and so forth.

Schumann Resonance The Schumann resonance is not increasing in frequency, and in fact already has multiple higher frequency spectral lines at the frequencies predicted by basic quantum physics. The fundamental frequency of 7.8 Hz being determined by the size of the Earth, the speed of light, and nothing else, with the higher frequency spectral lines in addition being determined by the size of Plank's constant.... None of which are changing. The amplitude (i.e. intensity) of the Schumann resonance is, however, not constant, and appears to be extremely dependent upon tropical (and hence global) temperature. Indeed preliminary results seem to indicate that a mere one degree increase in temperature seems to be correlated with a doubling of the Schumann resonance.

Magnetic Activity and Schumann Resonance Characteristics of integrated spectra and parameters of the first Earth-ionosphere cavity resonance are being computed by programs supplied by Dr. Martin Fullekrug based on data recorded by the electromagnetic observatories recorded by the BSL. This collaboration was initiated when Dr. Fullekrug was at the Stanford STAR Laboratory. The Schumann resonance frequency observed at this observatory does not exhibit any unusual change or drift since the start of observations in 1995.

Rocks in an ancient lava flow in Oregon suggest that for a brief erratic span about 16 million years ago magnetic north shifted as much as 6 degrees per day. "ALMOST INCONCEIVABLE" CHANGES IN THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD Science Frontiers ONLINE No. 101: A decade ago, a trio of geophysicists published a group of papers based on their measurements of the remnant magnetism of the 16-million-year-old layered lava flows at Steens Mountain, Oregon. (SF#45) At that time, they claimed that these finely bedded lava flows testified that, during a field reversal, the earth's field swung around at the astonishing rate of 3° per day! This rate is about one thousand times the current rate of polar drift. Mainstream geophysicists could not believe the 3°/day figure because it implied incredibly rapid changes in the flow of those molten materials within the earth that supposedly generate the geomagnetic field. The Steens Mountain data were "tabled"; that is, dismissed.

In this article thereby the electromagnetic waves produced by the human brain are our main field of interest. The investigation of the earth resonance frequencies and/or the so-called Schumann waves is the key for the new scientific realizations. These are also well known in esoteric circles, however usually presented physically incorrect. Nevertheless Schumann waves will become already now increasingly important for all of us. These natural "magic chant" of the earth has a broad influence on our world climate, in addition, on the evolution of human consciousness, and they are for a long time subject of doubtful military technologies. Psi and Geomagnetic Effects Fluctuation Effect's of Earth's Geomagnetic Field on a Pseudorandom-Number Generator Psi Response Task Edmund J. Flemming. Prior research has suggested that psi performance directly correlates with the earth's geomagnetic field fluctuations, high psi hit rates correlate with low geomagnetic fields and low psi hit rates correlate with high geomagnetic hit rates. The relationship of psi and geomagnetism was investigated in a pseudorandom-number generator psi task. The results showed a correlation of r, (1670) = .059, p = n.s.. The results do not support the hypothesis. However, the means of hits and planetary A-index suggests a trend of association between high geomagnetic activity and high hits, and low geomagnetic activity and low hits. The Earth's Magnetic Field (Updated model for 2000-2005 available here)This program calculates CORRECTED GEOMAGNETIC (CGM) coordinates from GEOGRAPHIC ones and VICE VERSA. The algorithm is based on the DGRF/IGRF geomagnetic field models for 1945 - 2000. A new CBM approach is used to compute CGM coordinates throughout the forbidden area close to the geomagnetic equator. A computation of geographic coordinates from geomagnetic ones is allowed out of the equatorial area only.

ZERO POINT AND SCHUMANN RESONANCE Believe it or not, the Earth behaves like an enormous electric circuit. The atmosphere is actually a weak conductor and if there were no sources of charge, its existing electric charge would diffuse away in about 10 minutes. There is a 'cavity 'defined by the surface of the Earth and the inner edge of the ionosphere 55 kilometers up. At any moment, the total charge residing in this cavity is 500,000 Coulombs. There is a vertical current flow between the ground and the ionosphere of 1 - 3 x 10^-12 Amperes per square meter. The resistance of the atmosphere is 200 Ohms.
