I'd really like to keep the SSRsi web site advertisement & sponsor free. I believe it's an important part of maintaining the integrity of the service I provide, reduces annoying screen clutter, and increases the load-speed of the pages. I don't want to become just another commercial site. Help us keep entanglement free! Send your spare change! Dump those pennies and nickels and dimes into an envelope and send them this way, or cash them in for a money order and send that. Just keep it under the $25 limit, please. Thank you!

Why the $25 limit?

The limit on contributions has nothing to do with taxes, laws, or business policies. It is the amount that I, personally, deem to be the maximum justifiable value of the information and service that I provide for my individual viewers.

I appreciate the offers to contribute greater amounts, but cannot accept them and retain my personal sense of honor and dignity. To some folks, this info and service may be worth more and I find that intensely gratifying, in and of itself. This does not mean that I need to accept more money from anyone. When you buy a great book or magazine at the news stand, you don't send the author or publisher additional cash because you REALLY LOVED the contents, do you? The only difference here is that I do not REQUIRE anyone to pay for my product.

If you can't or don't want to pay the $25 - or any amount less than that - then don't. You are still more than welcome to visit the site and use, or comment on, or add to, the content. What I DO NOT APPRECIATE are the personal attacks on my integrity for setting an upper limit on contributions. If you don't like it, then don't send anything. Just (Puh-Lease!) quit clogging up my e-mail with your comments on how "bogus" I sound to you.
